 Steve Gorny is a partner with Bartimus, Frickleton, Robertson & Gorny, P.C. He graduated magna cum laude from Washburn University School of Law in 1994. Prior to law school, Steve graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a double major in political science and sociology. Steve’s 15 years of practice have been focused on transportation incidents, premises liability, product liability suits, and general catastrophic injuries. In 2006, he and partner Jim Frickleton obtained a record $46,000,000 verdict on behalf of a couple killed in a collision with a tractor trailer. Steve is actively involved in legal and community affairs. He is the President of The Mid America Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Board of Trustees. He received the Robert McKinney “Volunteer of the Year” award from the Society. In 2006, Steve ran 12 full (26.2 mile) marathons in 12 months to raise money for the Society and was honored as its Team-in-Training Volunteer of the Year. Steve lives in Leawood, Kansas, with his wife Erin and their daughter Ellie. |
