Peter S. Faraci, the firm’s managing partner, specializes in civil and criminal litigation, including personal injury cases. He received his undergraduate college degree from the University of Florida in 1988, and his Juris Doctorate Degree from The John Marshall Law School in 1996. He is a member of the legal bar in Illinois. Mr. Faraci began his career working for Earl L. Neal & Associates under the guidance of Retired United States District Judge George N. Leighton. He has tried numerous complex litigation matters over the years, in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Faraci has also handled complex appeals in both the Illinois Appellate Courts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Faraci was also appointed in 2003 by the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners to serve as a Hearing Examiner for the Board. In this position he has presided over numerous contested hearings and ruled on the eligibility of candidates to run for office. Mr. Faraci in 1996 co-authored with the distinguished former United States District Judge, George N. Leighton, a textbook on prisoner’s rights, Rights of Prisoners in American Law. He has also served as co-counsel with Judge Leighton in representing several prominent local labor unions. Mr. Faraci has also served as Outside Counsel for County, Municipal Employees, Supervisors’ and Foremen’s Union, Local 1001 of Laborers International Union of North America. Mr. Faraci is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. He is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Faraci is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Medical Negligence Committee. |
