 Mr. Bartimus has almost 30 years of trial experience representing plaintiffs nationwide in complex medical negligence cases. Upon completing law school, Mr. Bartimus attended medical school for three years. Mr. Bartimus is listed in the Best Lawyers of America, named SuperLawyer for both Kansas and Missouri and voted Best of the Bar in Kansas City, Missouri and Best Medical Negligence Lawyer in Missouri. Mr. Bartimus is a member of the Executive Committee of the American Association for Justice, immediate past president of the national Civil Justice Foundation, past president of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and Bar Foundation, Missouri Institute for Justice, the regional chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and UMKC Law Foundation. Mr. Bartimus is a Fellow in the American College of Legal Medicine, International Society of Barristers, American Bar Foundation, Belli Society and is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the National College of Advocacy. Mr. Bartimus has served as a director on national organizational boards including the American Board of Trial Advocates, Public Justice, and American Association of Justice. Mr. Bartimus has served as adjunct professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law and adjunct faculty at School of Nursing. Mr. Bartimus is a member of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association. Mr. Bartimus has lectured nationwide, in Europe and Australia, served on editorial boards and submitted numerous articles and book chapters for national publication. Mr. Bartimus is founding partner of the law firm of Bartimus Frickleton Robertson & Gorny with offices in Missouri and Kansas.
