 Areas of Practice Eric Romano became an attorney because he saw firsthand the great pride and satisfaction that his father, John Romano, took in helping people to right wrongs and to fight injustice. He also witnessed his father's deep passion for family, work, and life. Eric knew at a young age that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. Eric is a Florida Bar Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial litigation. Eric has frequently been appointed as a Special Assistant State Attorney to prosecute criminal cases in Palm Beach County. He has gone to trial in more than 100 civil and criminal cases. Eric began his career as a prosecutor with the State Attorney's office for the 15th Circuit in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases in the Misdemeanor, Juvenile, Domestic Violence, and Felony trial divisions. He left the State Attorney’s office to join Romano, Eriksen & Cronin in 2001, which was reorganized as Romano Law Group in 2007. Eric serves as the President-Elect of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and is on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He lectures extensively in the areas of both criminal and civil trial practice. Eric lives in Wellington with his wife, Paige, their daughter, Emma, and their sons, Braden and Cameron.
